TX Massage CEU

Live Interactive CE Class — September 2026!

Connect. Learn. Renew.

Experience continuing education in a whole new way.

For more than 15 years, I’ve offered self-paced online continuing education for massage therapists across Texas. While many therapists love the flexibility of learning at their own pace, others have told me they miss the interaction, discussion, and connection that comes with learning in a classroom.

I’m excited to now offer that experience through Live Interactive CE Classes—bringing massage therapists together online for engaging discussions, practical education, and meaningful topics that simply can’t be experienced through reading a PDF.

Join me from the comfort of your home as we learn, ask questions, share experiences, and grow together.

If you’ve enjoyed the convenience of my self-paced online CE classes, but have missed the interaction of learning with an instructor and fellow massage therapists, this class was created for you.
This live interactive course is designed to provide an educational experience that simply can’t be replicated through self-paced learning.

Course Description

For more than 30 years, my passion has been helping people through natural health, massage therapy, and education. As a naturopath, licensed massage therapist, massage instructor, and continuing education provider, I’ve spent decades teaching others how the healing power of touch can improve quality of life.

Then, nearly nine years ago, my journey took an unexpected turn.

I became an End-of-Life Doula and Patient Advocate, walking alongside individuals and families during some of life’s most difficult moments. That work transformed the way I view healing, compassion, and the role massage therapists can play throughout serious illness, especially when the focus turns toward comfort, quality of life, and compassionate support.

This course is the result of bringing those two worlds together.

As massage therapists, we develop relationships with our clients that may continue for many years. Eventually, we may find ourselves walking alongside a longtime client who has received a serious diagnosis, entered palliative care or hospice, or is approaching the end of life. And yet, very few massage therapists receive meaningful education about what happens during this stage of life—or how to navigate it with confidence.

In this course, we’ll step beyond the massage table and explore the larger world of serious illness, hospice, dying, and end-of-life care. We’ll discuss hospice and palliative care, what the dying process may actually look like, communicating with clients and families, navigating difficult conversations, understanding professional and ethical boundaries, working within a hospice environment, grief and loss, and caring for ourselves while caring for others.

We’ll also explore the massage therapist’s role as a client’s needs and abilities change, including consent, appropriate touch, adapting the goals of a session, knowing when massage may or may not be appropriate, and recognizing when something is outside our scope of practice. This is not a massage technique class. Rather, it’s about developing the knowledge and understanding needed to support clients safely, compassionately, and professionally during a profoundly vulnerable time in their lives.

Perhaps most importantly, we’ll talk about something that often isn’t taught in massage school—the power of simply being present. We don’t always need to fix something, offer advice, or find the perfect words. Sometimes our greatest contribution is compassionate touch, a listening ear, and the willingness to remain present when someone is facing something difficult.

Through lecture, discussion, case studies, reflection, and stories from my own experiences in end-of-life care, my goal is to help you feel more knowledgeable about death and dying, more comfortable with difficult conversations, and more confident about your role when a client is seriously ill or approaching the end of life.

Whether you hope to work with hospice patients, already care for aging or medically fragile clients, or simply want to be better prepared for the day when a longtime client becomes seriously ill, this course is designed to give you knowledge and perspective that can serve you throughout your massage therapy career.
